Dorothy Hogan Paulk Branch, 90, of Tifton died Monday, April 7, 2014, at Bradley Place following a long battle with lymphoma. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Dr. Fred Evers will officiate with burial to follow. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 10, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Ms. Branch was born on November 21, 1923 in Tifton and was the daughter of Samuel Jackson Hogan and Josephine Eady Hogan, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Darius Daniel Paulk Sr.; three daughters, Melba Wylene Paulk and twin infant daughters; two brothers, Bill Barnard and Marcus Hogan; and one sister, Vola Belle West. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Encouragers Sunday school class. She was also a Pink Lady at Tift Regional Medical Center. Ms. Branch is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Darius Daniel Jr. and Suann Paulk of Winter Haven, Florida; two daughters and one son-in-law, Charlene and Jimmy Ross, and Deborah Paulk, all of Tifton; six grandchildren, Jasmine McMillan, Julie McLeod, Jeffrey Ross, Jody Aderhold, Darius Paulk III, and Desiree Dunn; and 13 great-grandchildren, Ross McLeod, Mary Catherine McLeod, Rhett McLeod, Alex Aderhold, Ashlyn Aderhold, Adam Aderhold, Pate McMillan, Whitney Croy, Loren Croy, Amarius Paulk, Jericka Hahn, Declan Dunn, and Micha Dunn. The family wishes to thank the caregivers and staff of Bradley Place for their loving and compassionate care of Ms. Branch. Flowers will be accepted or memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society, 323 Pine Avenue, Suite 100, Albany, GA 31701.
