Thelma Ruth Warren Lowery, 75, of Tifton died Saturday, August 10, 2013, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Donnie Sloan will officiate with burial to follow in Salem Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 12, 2013, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Ms. Lowery was born on November 24, 1937 in Louisville, Mississippi and was the daughter of Robert Brutus Warren and Vada Lou Banes Warren, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Nell Moore and two brothers, R. B. Warren and Dennis Warren. She was retired from Omega Elementary School.
Ms. Lowery is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and David Drawdy of Tifton; two sisters, Bobbie Warren of Omega and Betty Lowery of Forest, Mississippi; and two grandchildren, Tonya Parker and her husband Bo; and Bryan Drawdy and his friend, Koree Dorminy.
