Margaret Swain Stinson, 72, of Enigma died Thursday, March 28, 2013, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2013, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Dana Swain, Rev. Marvin Williams and Rev. Billy Swain will officiate with burial to follow in Tift Memorial Gardens. Sam Easters, Bill Lincoln, Billy Ussery, Carlton Sego, Bob Croak and Mark Lott will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Leroy Little, Clifford Lee, Ronnie Culpepper, Hershel Pope, Bentley Barrentine, Lamar Hogan, Johnny King, Jeff Abel, Bobby Stinson, Larry Stinson, Jerry Stinson and Tim Daniel. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 29, 2013, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Mrs. Stinson was born on June 2, 1940 in Nashville and was the daughter of Marvin William “Buck” Swain, Sr. and Evelyn Easters Swain, both deceased. She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Zion Ministries in Enigma. Mrs. Stinson is survived by her husband, Steve “Sonny” Stinson, Jr. of Enigma; a daughter and son-in-law, Regina and Bob Boykin of Ocilla; a brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Billy and Marian Swain of Enigma; two grandchildren and their spouses, Lakin and Michael Bailey and Bryson and Vanna Boykin, all of Nashville; and one great-granddaughter, Addison Gina Bailey of Nashville. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Tifton Dialysis, Hospice of Tiftarea, Osceola Nursing Home and Life Line Home Care for their special care of Mrs. Stinson during her illness.
