Annette Ross Corbitt Stanley,81, daughter of Ada Mims Ross of Tifton, Georgia, passed away Friday, July 20, 2012 at her home in Hialeah, Florida. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012 in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. She will be memorialized by her son-in-law, the Rev. Tom Monroe with burial to follow at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in the family plots. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 Thursday prior to the service.
Annette has gone to join her Jesus, her mother, her husband Jack Stanley, whom she was married to for 43 years, and the family that preceded her in death.
Annette will be sincerely missed by those she leaves behind which include her devoted daughters and their husbands and family:
Linda and Jim (Naples,Fl.), Connie and David (Edgewater, Fl.), Julie and Larry (Naples, Fl.), Barbara and Tom (Plano, Tx.), Belinda and Bobby (Keystone, Fl.). She was blessed with 12 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Annette will be greatly missed by her 2 surviving life-long friends, Leona Sullivan and Velma Parker.
Mrs. Stanley was born September 28, 1930 in Pelham, Georgia. She was a graduate of Miami Dade Bible College.
Although her family and friends are very saddened and hurt by her passing they rejoice knowing that she is “happy and whole” in heaven.
